Upcoming ECHO Sessions
What is ECHO?
Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a collaborative model of medical education and care management developed at the University of New Mexico. The primary goal of Project ECHO is to expand access to specialized medical knowledge and best practices by using video-conferencing technology. Through this tele-mentoring approach, healthcare professionals can present and discuss cases with specialists, allowing them to gain expertise and confidence in managing complex conditions.

Project ECHO has been applied to various medical fields, including infectious diseases, mental health, chronic pain, and more. The model emphasizes the "all teach, all learn" philosophy, fostering a collaborative and interactive learning environment to improve patient outcomes and build capacity in healthcare systems.
